Mechanical Power Presses

VIT mechanical press control packages are custom designed to suit the specific requirements of each machine. Packages often incorporate the Wintriss SmartPAC2 Press Automation Control typically in combination with Allen Bradley, Omron or Pilz safety controllers if required.

VIT has built a solid reputation by providing innovative solutions to upgrade stamping press controls to conform to current safety standards. Every stamping press installed in Canada must now comply with the CSA Z142 safety standard.

Hydraulic Power Presses

VIT is an industry leader in hydraulic power press retrofit applications for both safety and process upgrade requirements. These retrofits include load holding systems, integration of operator safety devices (light curtains, guarding, etc) into existing hydraulic circuits, multiple operator run stations, and more, all while increasing reliability and system "up time". Packages often include Allen-Bradley, Omron or Pilz hardware, but can be designed to accommodate any customer specific requirements.

Hydraulic Press Brakes

VIT's mechanical and hydraulic press brake control systems are designed to provide increased productivity and ease of use to the operator, without compromising safety. For mechanical systems, VIT can provide Wintriss based controls to incorporate production and safety requirements. For hydraulic systems, many options can be provided. These range from custom safety PLC software incorporating load holding, to LazerSafe package guarding systems, to PC Controls advanced CNC controller. Automec back gauges can also be integrated depending on production requirements.

Servo Feed & Transfer System Retrofits

With cycle times and system throughput a top concern among production facilities, a properly functioning, high speed servo feeder is a must. Here at VIT, we can engineer, develop, build and commission control systems incorporating today's highest level of servo feed technology. These servo feed packages also include the latest safety technologies to ensure operator safety during coil changes.

Press Control Rebuilds

Veugen Integrated Technologies (VIT) press control packages are custom designed to suit the specific requirements of each machine.

Every stamping press installed in Canada must now comply with the CSA Z142 safety standards.

Generally, all new machines are compliant, but thousands of older machines currently in operation do not meet the safety standards. At VIT, we upgrade these older machines to ensure they meet the stringent requirements of a PSR (Pre-start Health and Safety Review). VIT handles all aspects of a project, ranging from basic light curtain additions to a complete new control package.

We specialize in a single source solution that ensures minimum downtime. And we guarantee that all work performed will meet the requirements of applicable safety standards.

OEM

In addition to VIT's specialization in safety-related control systems, our design team and skilled panel builders have expertise in many other areas, including water treatment and hi-tech vacuum equipment.

We work with OEM machinery builders to design and build control systems that meet their unique requirements. Our technicians will travel anywhere in North America to perform on site commissioning.

Electrical Breakdown

VIT has considerable experience and all the required resources to deal with breakdowns.

Whether your problem is controls power failure or an electrical motor failure for any type of mechanical or hydraulic presses, hydraulic press brakes or Servo Feed & Transfer system Retrofits, we can respond rapidly and effectively with our experienced personnel.

We pride ourselves on truly reliable and rapid response to breakdowns in Ontario, Canada and beyond.
